After graduating from Florida State University in 2010, Austin went on to work in the Real Estate Industry, where he quickly found his passion in the digital space after building several lead generation websites. From there, he went on to work for a large digital marketing agency in South Florida that focused on search engine optimization.
Several years later after climbing the ranks through the digital agency ecosystem, he learned the art of buying digital media on Google & Facebook. During that time, Facebook was in its infancy and he quickly understood that the attention was rapidly shifting towards this new social media network. This is when he quickly understood the importance of capturing and arbitraging attention.
While Rakesh was pursuing his MBA at Lynn University, he found his passion for marketing. In Summer 2015 he joined as an intern at Allergan, Inc, that’s where he believed that he can build his career in marketing. During the last semester, he got the opportunity to work with Austin at one of the leading agencies in Boca, where Austin was the director of Paid Media.
They both connected instantly on the grounds of the same passion they had for marketing. As they worked hand-in-hand for many years, Austin became Rakesh’s natural mentor. He remembers Austin telling him the only rule in media buying is “He who has the traffic has the gold.”
